Parliament only place for grand national dialogue, says Zardari
KARACHI (City News) – Co-Chairman of Pakistan Peoples Party (PPP) Asif Ali Zardari on Friday clarified that Parliament is only place for Grand National Dialogue.
Former president lashed out at Nawaz Sharif, saying his thinking about democracy is dangerous. He said ex-prime minister refused to meet him when his brother died to make apolitical powers happy.
We bore prison but Nawaz Sharif ran away after making compromises, he continued.
PPP leader also asked why Nawaz Sharif is not accepting Supreme Court (SC) decision in Panama Leaks case as PPP immediately brought new PM when the judiciary ousted Yousaf Raza Gillani.
He said refusing to administer oath to Nawaz Sharif in 2013 would have created crisis but we ensured smooth democracy process in the country.
Talking about his party leaders, Zardari said Raza Rabbani is an independent intellectual and Chairman Senate while Aitzaz Ahsan’s words are his words.
