Previous India rugby player held in triple murder case

NEW DELHI (City News) – A previous player with India’s rugby group has been captured over the killings of a cop and two other individuals, police said Thursday.

Parmeet Dabas, 28, was captured in New Delhi a week ago after police followed him down to a level he had supposedly leased utilizing fake personality papers.

He played for India now and again in the vicinity of 2005 and 2015, visiting Pakistan, Sri Lanka and Uzbekistan.

“Dabas caused deadly wounds to three people including a Delhi police associate sub-investigator Vijay Kumar for a situation of individual contention,” police agent chief Pramod Singh Kushwaha told AFP.

“A nine-millimeter gun containing two live cartridges in its magazine was recouped from his ownership.”

The thought process in the April 30 murders was not instantly clear. A few reports said there was a group association, yet Kushwaha denied this.

“It appears like an instance of respect executing since Dabas’ far off relative needed to dispose of a man who wedded his sister against the desires of the family,” he said.

Dabas had already served three years in prison anticipating trial for kill, yet was in the end vindicated, Kushwaha said.
