Stalwarts protest biased distribution of tickets outside Khan’s residence

LAHORE (City News) – Amid Imran Khan’s arrival in Lahore, estranged party workers of Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) on Thursday staged protest outside supremo’s residence in Zaman park over unbiased distribution of tickets for general elections 2018.

As per details acquired, protesters hailing from Mandi Bahauddin, Nankana Sahib and other areas flocked to Lahore and chanted slogans outside Khan s residence.

The situation got tense when vice-president Shah Mehmood Qureshi arrived at the residence and enraged protesters surrounded his vehicle and demanded to award tickets to ideological stalwarts.

On the other hand, Pakistan Peoples Party’s (PPP) workers also staged protest outside Bilawal House in Multan over unjust distribution of tickets. Protesters chanted slogans and warned to continue protests.

Pakistan Muslim League Nawaz’s leader Arif Sindhayala also staged protest outside party secretariat while accusing leadership of selling tickets for huge sum of money.
