Heavy rain expected in most parts of the country on Thursday

LAHORE – Meteorological Department predicted today (July 31) that it will most likely rain heavily in most parts of the country which can cause flooding in rivers.
Widespread rains/wind-thunderstorm (with isolated heavy falls) are expected on Thursday in Hazara, Peshawar, Rawalpindi, Gujranwala, Lahore, Sargodha, Faisalabad divisions, Islamabad, Kashmir, while at scattered places in Malakand, Kohat, Bannu, D.I.Khan, Zhob, Multan, D.G.Khan divisions and Gilgit-Baltistan.
Heavy rains are likely to bring lower areas of Peshawar, Lahore, Rawalpindi, Gujranwala, Sargodha and Faisalabad division underwater. Due to heavy rains, land sliding is also expected in Hazara, Malakand division, Gilgit-Baltistan and hilly areas of Kashmir
