President Alvi reconstitutes Council of Common Interests

ISLAMABAD (City News) – President Dr Arif Alvi in exercise of powers conferred upon him under article 153 of the Constitution has reconstituted the Council of Common Interests (CCI) on the advice of the Prime Minister Imran Khan, City News reported on Thursday.
According to the notification issued in this regard, Prime Minister will be the chairman of the reconstituted Council of Common Interests while chief ministers of all the four provinces will be its members.
The other members of the CCI include Minister for Planning, Development and Special Initiatives, Minister for Inter-Provincial Coordination and Minister for Power.
