WORCESTERSHIRE (City News) – Pakistan team’s preparations for England tour continue as two training sessions of the visitors are scheduled for Thursday in Worcestershire, Dunya News reported.
Bowling coach Waqar Younis, after conducting practice of players on Wednesday, said, “The session was good. Boys will improve day by day. Overcast conditions help bowlers here and they are enjoying as well. It is good for the team the more you [bowlers] bowl in these conditions.”
Paceman Sohail Khan said, “We are getting used to conditions here and coaching staff is working brilliantly with us.”
Left-arm pacer Shaheen Shah Afridi said, “It is a good feeling that team is in action after a long time. We are working hard.”
Young fast bowler Naseem Shah said, “It is my first tour and I am enjoying a lot as we are using duke ball. I am very excited because cricket has resumed after three months. Bowling coach Waqar Younis is guiding us regarding methods to shine the ball.”
