LHC restores license of 24News channel

LAHORE (City News) – Lahore High Court (LHC) on Tuesday restored license of ‘24News’ channel.
According to details, LHC rejected PEMRA’s plea of issuing stay order on the matter and issued notices to federal government and other respondents.
Earlier, the Pakistan Electronic Media Authority Regulatory Authority (PEMRA) on Friday suspended with “immediate effect” television channel 24NewsHD s license for “illegal transmission of news and current affairs content”.
