Dollar falls by 23 paisa against rupee in interbank market

KARACHI (City News) – The Unite States dollar fell by 23 paisa against the Pakistani rupee in the interbank market to close at Rs 166.35, Dunya News reported on Friday.

The exchange rate of the dollar had weakened by 18 paisa in the interbank on Thursday (yesterday) against the rupee. The greenback had closed at 166.58 rupees on fourth business day of the week.

It is pertinent here to mention that the dollar has depreciated by 60 paisa since July 7. The greenback traded at 166.95 rupees on July 7.
