Rain in parts of Lahore brings relief from scorching heat

LAHORE (City News) – Rain in several areas of Lahore on Wednesday provided respite to the residents who were reeling under scorching heat for the past week and turned the weather pleasant.

Rain and thundershower with gusty winds have reduced the intensity of heat in the provincial capital. Lahore recorded a minimum temperature of 26 degrees Celsius and a maximum of 37 degrees Celsius.

Moreover, rain and thunderstorm with strong winds are also expected at isolated places in Kashmir, Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, Faisalabad, Sargodha divisions and Gilgit Baltistan, while dust raising winds are also expected in Multan, DG Khan and Bahawalpur divisions.

In Karachi, the weather is expected to remain cloudy with scattered rain expected around the metropolis.
