KARACHI – Korangi Causeway Road has on Saturday submerged after flooding in Malir River in Karachi during
the ongoing monsoon rains. The traffic has been diverted from Expressway to Godam Chowrangi.
Traffic pressure on Korangi Road has increased as a result. Locals are not refraining from risking their lives and
are crossing the flooded area. Several people have lost their lives in such attempts this year.
Heavy vehicles succeed in passing through the water whereas it is dangerous for motor bikers to cross the
flooded area. Still, many of them are using the route in order to take short-cut.
