LAHORE (City News) – Punjab Chief Minister Sardar Usman Buzdar Thursday said the new local body system will truly empower people at grass-root level and the provincial government has unfrozen all funds.
The chief minister chaired a high-level meeting regarding the municipal bodies and said the funds will be distributed fairly. People will be facilitated at their doorstep by improving the departments, he added.
Usman Buzdar said a new era of development will begin in every city and village of Punjab where the funds will be spent according to needs. The CM ordered the local bodies to perform duties without any negligence.
