CARDIFF (City News) – Pakistan’s limited-overs captain Babar Azam smashed his first century for Somerset in this season’s T20 Blast at the Sophia Gardens, Cardiff.
Babar Azam hit nine fours and five sixes in his 62-ball 114 runs against Glamorgan to help his team compile a big total of 183/3. He also became the third-fastest player to 5000 T20 runs.
Glamorgan were bowled out for just 117 runs in 15.5 overs in reply as Somerset secured an easy win by 66 runs.
Babar Azam was declared man of the match.
