Cotton arrivals fall 43 percent to 3.4 million bales

ISLAMABAD (Web Desk) – Cotton arrivals in ginning factories fell 43 percent to 3.4 million bales as compared to around 6 million bales reaching the industries during the same period last year.
According to details, Punjab and Sindh showed decline of 45 percent and 41 percent respectively as cotton arrivals till Oct. 31 in Sindh and Punjab stood at 1.7 million bales each
Textile companies bought 2.5 million bales while exporters bought 17600 bales of cotton.
