NAB executive board approves reference against Ejaz Haroon, Abdul Ghani Majeed
ISLAMABAD (City News) – National Accountability Bureau (NAB) chairman Justice (r) Javed Iqbal on Tuesday has chaired a meeting of executive board.
During the session, anti-graft watchdog’s chief reviewed progress on ongoing corruption cases, complaints and inquiries and approved reference against Pakistan International Airlines’ (PIA) former managing director (MD) Ejaz Haroon and Omni Group tycoon Anwar Majeed’s son Abdul Ghani Majeed.
Speaking on the occasion, Justice (r) Javed Iqbal said that NAB’s responsibility is to eliminate corruption from the country and bring back the looted money.
NAB is only loyal to state of Pakistan, he asserted.
The chairman further told that national and international departments have lauded the performance of the anti-corruption watchdog.
